Attorney David Balch received his bachelor’s degree from Columbia University in New York in 1992, and his Juris Doctor degree from Georgetown University Law Center in Washington, D.C. in 1995 (Magna Cum Laude, Order of the Coif). He clerked for Judge Frank Magill of the United States Court of Appeals, Eighth Circuit.
David’s practice emphasizes complex litigation and all aspects of trial and appellate practice in the fields of business and real estate litigation, governmental litigation, land use, CEQA, and personal injury.
David has significant experience with large, complex commercial litigation, having spent six years in practice with large firms in New York City, first with Cravath, Swaine and Moore (one of the nation’s pre-eminent law firms), and then with O’Sullivan LLP.
