Business Transaction Attorney

JRG Attorneys at Law, the leading full-service firm in California’s Monterey and San Benito Counties, is seeking a highly motivated, team-oriented Business Transaction Attorney to join our established practice. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced attorney to become part of a dynamic team serving businesses, landowners, and individuals throughout the region.

Ideal candidates will have five to ten years of business transactional experience handling a broad range of business, corporate and real estate transactions. This includes general contract negotiations and drafting, entity formation and governance, mergers and acquisitions, commercial real estate purchases, sales and leases. Intellectual property and trademark experience is a plus but not a requirement. 

A successful candidate will be well organized, team-oriented and demonstrate an ability to handle multiple responsibilities and a robust caseload. Additionally, they should possess strong analytical skills, excellent client communication skills and a passion for helping businesses succeed.

The position is full-time, in office and requires an active California bar license. Pay range $120,000-$225,000 depending on experience.

Senior Litigation Attorney (10+ years of experience)

JRG Attorneys at Law and its Director of Litigation, Steve Barber, are seeking a highly-motivated litigation attorney with a minimum of ten years of civil litigation experience to assist him and the litigation department with the handling of complex and interesting litigation cases. Mr. Barber is a former senior partner in a large multi-state litigation firm who has brought a wealth of experience and knowledge to the firm.

JRG Attorneys at Law is the California Central Coast’s largest and most effective firm with its principal offices in Salinas, Hollister, and Watsonville. We represent clients in a wide range of litigation including corporate, labor, product liability, personal injury, land use, agriculture, regulatory/administrative, contract, hospitality, and real estate.

The candidate will have the opportunity to assume substantial case-handling responsibility and work with and be mentored by Steve Barber and Robert Rosenthal, two very experienced and successful trial lawyers, in a firm culture known for teamwork and success.

Litigation Paralegal

JRG Attorneys at Law is seeking a full-time paralegal with a minimum of three to five years of experience in civil and commercial litigation. This paralegal position provides support to attorneys in the Litigation Department and efficiency in calendaring and computer knowledge is a must. JRG offers paralegal competitive salaries and full benefits as well as flexibility within the position and allows for growth within the Firm. Salary range is $64,000 - $82,000 annually.

Labor and Employment Law Attorney

JRG Attorneys at Law is looking for an energetic, dynamic, and creative attorney with experience and a track record of success in labor and employment law matters in a team atmosphere. The ideal candidate would have experience representing clients in trials, administrative proceedings, and day-to-day employment issues including preparing employee handbooks.
