S. Craig Cox is a JRG partner and Hollister branch manager. Recognized in both 2024 and 2025 as a Super Lawyer “Rising Star” by his peers, Craig is a key member of the JRG litigation team. Known for his attention to detail and passionate representation of his clients, Craig can be counted on to provide his clients with clear and straightforward legal guidance. Craig’s practice includes civil litigation and trial work of all kinds and complexities.
As an experienced litigator with dozens of court and jury trials, mediations and arbitrations, Craig has honed his skills by being creative in resolving contentious disputes short of trial, but unafraid to take a matter to trial when called for. Craig’s passion for his clients and willingness to ‘fight the fight’ on their behalf has helped him gain the respect of judges and attorneys alike.
Originally from Florida, Craig attended University of Florida where he earned a BS in Journalism, followed by a law degree. In law school, Craig was recognized for excellence in legal writing and trial advocacy, which skills he employs today at JRG in his litigation and trial practice. Craig is a member of both the Florida and California State Bar Associations.
As a JRG partner, Craig also manages JRG’s Hollister office while co-managing the JRG offices at large.
In addition to the state bar admissions, Craig is also admitted to practice in the Northern District of the Federal District Courts of California and the Eastern District of the Federal District Courts of California.
