Join JRG in Supporting Relay for Life and the Fight Against Cancer
For more than 15 years, JRG has proudly participated in our local American Cancer Society Relay for Life Salinas Valley event, demonstrating our commitment to giving back to the community and supporting the fight against cancer. This annual tradition allows our team to honor cancer survivors, recognize caregivers, remember loved ones lost, and help raise critical funds for cancer research and patient support programs.
Fundraising Activities
This year, JRG is hosting several fundraising activities leading up to Relay for Life. We have included a list of upcoming events, key dates, and important Relay for Life information so you can find a way to participate that works for you.
Raffle Tickets

Rummage Sale and “Soak an Attorney”

These JRG attorneys have argued their last case – because you have the power to soak them! For our JRG Relay for Life fundraiser, we are putting Jason Retterer and Peter Brazil in the hot seat. This Saturday, in a fun and spirited fundraising challenge, Jason and Pete are trading their suits and ties for swim trunks and giving you the opportunity to dump buckets of water on their heads in exchange for donations to help fight cancer.
This is one time when we’re happy to let the community take aim at us for a good cause. Our legal profession is built on advocacy, and this is another way for us to advocate—this time for those whose lives have been affected by cancer. Every dollar raised helps support the fight against this disease.

Local attorneys, clients, business owners and community members are encouraged to join the fun by making a donation and helping decide which attorneys will face the biggest splash. The event promises plenty of laughs, a few surprised attorneys and, most importantly, an opportunity to come together as a community for a cause that touches so many lives. For revenge, laughs, and a fun way to help fight cancer, join us this Saturday, August 29, 10:00 AM to 2:00 PM for the annual JRG rummage sale with water splash activity at JRG Salinas – “Soak an Attorney!”
