Nathalia joined JRG in 2006 and leads the firm’s community outreach, involvement, and external affairs. She is a seasoned member of the JRG team and assists clients with a variety of matters.

A long standing community member of Monterey County and the Salinas Valley, Nathalia has served in numerous community leadership roles, including Monterey County Planning Commission, Monterey County Redistricting Commission, Monterey County Commission on the Status of Women, City of Salinas Planning Commission, and City of Salinas Traffic Commission. She was elected Salinas Union High School District Trustee Area 3 board member in 2022 and will serve as president beginning in 2026.

Nathalia has also served as President of Latina Leaders of Kern County and is a 2005 graduate and alumni of California’s Hispanas Organized for Political Equality’s (HOPE) Leadership Institute. She continues her relationship with HOPE as she chairs a local committee which mentors high school youth in preparation for HOPE’S annual Latina Action Day in Sacramento.

Her professional career includes District Director for former Assemblywoman Nicole Parra, Monterey County Coordinator of the Binational Health Monterey County for UC Berkeley and Lead Coordinator for Big Sur Land Trust’s 1st Annual Take It Outside Event at Natividad Creek Park in the City of Salinas.

Nathalia enjoys spending family time with her husband Rafael, their daughters Elyssa and Miranda, and their six grandchildren. Nathalia is bilingual in English and Spanish.
